SONG MEANINGS

minimalist:

exit

It was planned as a song 'bout suicide, when you are near the limit of depression. When you are just tired of that evil, greed and violence, and there's no way-out except 'to play the game'. But we've got a suicide with shade of drugs. I don't think, theme of overdose appears here.

minimalist

'Song-with-the-same-title-as-album'. Something like this. And I don't see anything else in common between them. This song continues that fear and loathing which started in exit.

'Dirt gush from him' - it's about shit live in us.

why don't you tell me why I'm so sorrowful

Very psyhodelic song with much more psyhodelic chorus. I think, it relates about changes. 'Mind' changes to 'blame'.

'Fretless people' - trimmers.

'Sorry, I couldn't become your wife/I tore my best dress' - it's a metaphor.

not sad

That's really funny. People think this song was written 'cause I was queer. Adding my strange behaviour and gay jokes... Ha-ha-ha!

'Fatherfucking head' - it was my idea. ©

rage

are you happy now?

It's something like the result, when you can answer just 'Yes, I am'. Experience well-known only to you helps to mutter that words.

he

Heaps of associations...scraps of memories from my childhood. The best song from the album.

old town from fade picture

It's about illusory values, yeah, about fade town from albums coverage. I don't exactly know, why I shose this song as a finish of the minimalist's way. Maybe it's just a finish of something like a period. Here it was a period of minimalism. I'm sure those lyrics has more sense than just as words, and such minimalist lives in all of us. Who knows...
